LT. COMMANDER(s) PAUL CHABOT ANNOUNCES CALIFORNIA NARCOTICS OFFICERS ASSOCIATION (CNOA) ENDORSEMENT.
(INLAND EMPIRE, CA) – This past week, the California Narcotics Officers Association (CNOA) voted unanimously to endorse Lt. Commander(s) Paul Chabot to succeed current Assemblyman Bill Emmerson in the 63rd Assembly District seat. LT. Commander(s) Chabot is a leading candidate in the race for the seat that will be vacated in 2010 by Assemblyman Emmerson who must step down due to term limits.
The CNOA represents a coalition of over 7,000 members of California’s narcotics officers, related law enforcement and prosecutors. In the endorsement, President Gil Van Attenhoven stated “We seek only to endorse outstanding candidates who are dedicated to the fair treatment of our citizens.” LT. Commander(s) Chabot has served in law enforcement with over 14 years of dedicated experience.
LT. Commander(s) Chabot’s other accomplishments leading to the CNOA’s unanimous decision include his founding of the local Inland Valley Drug Free Community Coalition and the statewide Coalition for a Drug Free California, as well as his nearly six years experience working under the Drug Czar for the White House.
“I am incredibly proud and honored to have received the endorsement of the CNOA at such an early stage in my campaign. It is a very personal one for me given my ongoing battle against the sale and abuse of illegal drugs”, stated LT. Commander(s) Chabot. He has also received the endorsement of CNOA past presidents’ Christy McCampbell, Tom Gorman, and Bob Cooke.
LT. Commander Paul Chabot currently resides in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife Brenda and their two daughters with one on the way.
