Those of you who live in Turlock probably remember the campaign slogan used by Mary Jackson in her bid for City Council. Remember the signs, “Action Jackson”? I wondered then and I still wonder now why she used a slogan that seems to mean absolutely nothing. Has anyone noticed any action, since she took office? It was just another misleading campaign slogan, not worth the paper it was printed on.

Turlock Police Captain Rob Jackson is gearing up to run against Sheriff Adam Christianson in 2010. It has been suggested, and posted on a blogspot that he will be using the campaign slogan… “Action Jackson”. When I first heard it, I couldn’t help but cringe. Let’s hope Rob Jackson wont take the same approach, and expect different results. Wouldn’t that be the definition of insanity?

Houston, we have a problem

Rob Jackson is a Mark Puthuff supporter. Mark Puthuff ran against our current Sheriff Adam Christianson, but lost his bid by a landslide. Rob Jackson left the Sheriff’s department less than a year after Christianson took over. Puthuff supporters, years later, are still not happy that Christianson won and are continually making waves in the department. Their intentional public displays are causing an unnecessary and distracting division in the department. Make no mistake, a hostile takeover is being planned, the gloves are off, and anything goes. This divide and conquer mentality is and should be an eye opener .

Rob Jackson supporters have already shown signs that dirty, underhanded tactics are just a part of the game. As a matter of fact this group of bottom feeders, hiding behind screen names are posting outrageously false accusations, allegations and outright lies about our current Sheriff, on the Modesto Bee’s blog spot called “The Hive“. Robert Stanford, one of the attack dogs, recently wrote this “If you wish to support the campaigning of Rob Jackson for Sheriff, we are expecting his website to be done sometime this week-I will post that when I get the URL.”

Does anyone find it alarming that a Turlock Police Captain would associate himself with anarchist sympathizers who are anti law enforcement. The same group of screen names who are pro drug legalization, and according to their own words, have had run in's with the law. They have proven themselves to be vicious attack dogs against anyone who disagrees with their position. Am I the only one who finds this alarming?

Why is this man on the Turlock Police Department payroll?
